Terms of Service

These terms apply to the CS2 RU Discord bots and web services. By using them, you accept what follows.

1. Acceptance

By being a member of the CS2 RU Discord server, interacting with our bots, or using any website under the cs2ru.online domain, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services and leave the server.

2. Eligibility

You need a valid Discord account and must meet the requirements of the Discord Terms of Service, including the minimum age of 13, or higher where local law requires it.

You also agree to follow the Discord Community Guidelines. Breaching them is also a breach of these terms.

3. Community rules

Our services exist for a gaming community. By using them you agree not to:

• insult members, provoke conflict, or incite hostility;
• spam, flood, or deliberately disrupt channels;
• post advertising without permission from the administration;
• impersonate other members, staff, or bots;
• attempt to evade punishments, including through alternate accounts or by rejoining the server;
• abuse bot commands, automate requests to them, or deliberately overload our services;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, data, or accounts;
• use the services for unlawful purposes.

4. Moderation

To enforce the rules we use warnings, communication restrictions, channel access restrictions, and removal from the server. Decisions are made by community staff.

• Punishments may be temporary or permanent. Temporary ones are lifted automatically when they expire.
• Some punishments require approval from a higher-ranked staff member. This is an internal safeguard intended to reduce mistakes.
• Automated tooling helps surface likely violations, but a human always decides whether to act.
• Infraction history is retained and taken into account for repeat offences. Retention periods are set out in the Privacy Policy.

If you believe a punishment was issued in error, contact the administration on Discord. We review appeals but do not guarantee that a decision will be reversed.

5. FACEIT verification

Verification is optional. By using it, you authorise us to read your Steam account identifier through your Discord connections and to query your FACEIT level in order to assign the matching roles.

You agree to verify only your own profile. Attempting to verify someone else's profile, or to misrepresent your level, is a breach of these terms and may result in a punishment.

6. Availability

The services are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or preservation of your data.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, including without prior notice. The community is run by volunteers and we make no service level commitments.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services, including loss of data, loss of account access, or loss of access to the community.

You use the services at your own risk.

8. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the services and the community at any time if you breach these terms or the server rules.

You may stop using the services at any time by leaving the server. How to request deletion of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Counter-Strike 2 and related marks belong to Valve Corporation. FACEIT and Discord belong to their respective owners. Our community is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, Valve, FACEIT, or Discord.

Content you post remains yours. By posting it, you grant us permission to display and store it to the extent required for the services to function.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and announce it on the server. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
